As Administrator my responsibilities include processing and filing all documents for new employees, review, report and submit payroll documents for a staff of 80. I assist management with recruiting, coaching, counseling, and resolving disciplinary issues involving hourly employees. I also communicate regularly both with management and clients.

I made sure that all necessary checkpoint security positions were properly manned so that proper processing of passengers through the checkpoint ran smoothly. This job has given me skills in being responsible for and to others as a mediator between airlines, passengers and other employees.

As a Screening Agent my responsibility was to ensure that passengers entering the security checkpoint have proper and valid boarding passes. I was a Checkpoint Security Supervisor. In this position, it was my responsibility to oversee operations of the security checkpoint. I made sure all security equipment functions properly. I made sure that all necessary checkpoint security positions were properly manned so that proper processing of passengers though the checkpoint ran smoothly. This job has given me skills in being responsible for and to others as a mediator between airlines, passengers and other employees.

My duties involved securing the area beyond the security checkpoint and making sure that it remained a hazard free zone, safe for both passengers and employees at the airport. This included screening passengers, their luggage and validating their tickets and identification for authenticity. This job has honed my observational skills.

In this position, it was my responsibility to receive incoming calls regarding local and long distance phone service. This included taking orders for request of service, bill review, plan changes, as well as repair and maintenance. I was responsible for filling, filing and tracking orders. I was responsible for making sure I was up to date on changes in service options and rate changes and promotional offers. In this fast paced business I had to keep accurate records and detailed reports of phone conversations so that anyone who reviewed an account after me would know what things were discussed and done in prior conversations. This job was great in equipping me in problem solving, finding appropriate resolution to difficult situations.

In this job, I handled transactions for individual as well as business clients. I transfer money from accounts, received deposits and issued withdrawals. I advised clients on was to better their service. This included referring customers and setting appointments to speak with a customer service representative. This job was good for educating me in how to be innovative in presenting new products and services to clients so they could capitalize on their banking needs.

While in this position I had the privilege of as cashier and information specialist. I assisted customers in locating books throughout the store, making suggestions for those who did not know specifically what they were looking for, as well as taking requests for book orders over the phone and in person. I assisted in stocking shelves with books, tapes and magazines. I made sure that books remained proper categorization. This job was great in honing my organizational skills, maintaining order.

During my stint in this position, my duties included receipt of payment for parking at one of Maryland’s most prestigious medical facilities. I was responsible for making sure visitors, patients and medical staff and students could navigate the parking facility, as well as the surrounding areas in the city, for those who were not familiar with Baltimore or the United States. I was a relief supervisor when the supervisor was off or away from the facility. This task included insuring that all proper reports were filled out. I made sure that all other employees had their breaks on time and that there was proper coverage during peak hours. I verified that all monies were collected and maintained for deposit on the next business day. I also made sure that all related equipment functioned properly and was kept current.

While working for Caldor I handled sales transactions and stocked shelves, as well as assisting customers in locating purchase items and making recommendations.
