I joined ADP, Inc. in August 2023 as a full-time Senior Counsel. Prior to ADP, I spent nearly 20 years as "lawyer at large" and "pioneer attorney" with Axiom Global, having assingments first in Axiom's home turf of New York City and then - helping with Axiom's expansion - in London and finally in Munich. Now at ADP, my areas of responsibility are privacy compliance and contracting with large multinational clients. I am "home-shored" in Florida (home office). In 2023 I also became a partner in the boutique real estate firm SJK Ventures LLC based in Cape Coral, Florida. SJK Ventures invests in, manages, and operates small (under $500k) commercial and residential real estate interests, and is active in renovation and rebuilding projects in southwest Florida. We partnered with Yellowtail Construction, LLC of Fort Myers, Florida, to rebuild several hotels that were devastated by Hurricane Ian in Sept. 2022, and we just celebrated our 10th residential real estate transaction in August.As a lawyer, I love doing deals, solving problems, and helping people reach their goals. My clients have counted on me to help with many complex projects including:* Drafting and negotiating precision documents from A to Z for both buy and sell-side (e.g., NDAs, RFPs, LOIs, MSAs, SOWs)* Coordinating large/complex corporate deals (e.g., investments, financings, M&A) and helping manage their results (regulatory filings, vendor and personnel changes, post-closing matters)* Defining and quantifying risks, then reducing those risks with effective legal instruments and strategic advice* Simplifying complex subjects into actionable themes for diverse audiences (e.g., presentations to boards and committees; supporting public relations and lobbying efforts; teaching gigs).
