An experienced global executive, Brian's career is distinguished by his role in the successful transformation of Parker Hannifin’s Global Filtration Business which, during his 12 years tenure as Vice President of Engineering, Technology and Innovation, more than doubled it’s revenue whilst significantly increasing profitability. This was achieved through globalization, strong technology and product portfolio management and market diversification and ultimately established Parker as the most diverse filtration business in the world, serving Engine & Mobile, Industrial Process, Hydraulic & Lube, Air Pollution Control & HVAC, Gas Filtration & Separation, Biopharmaceutical & Food/Beverage, Water, Aerospace customers with leading edge filtration, sensing and condition monitoring solutions.In this most recent role with Parker Hannifin, Brian worked closely with the 18 Parker Filtration businesses in 44 locations globally to develop and deploy growth strategies, and led ‘voice of customer’, new product development and engineering activities resulting in more than 60 major new products launches per year. He was also responsible for the engineering due diligence and integration of 4 technology and 12 company acquisitions, including that of the Clarcor Filtration business, the largest in Parker Hannifin’s history and one of the largest and most successful acquisitions ever in the filtration industry. Brian has a strong growth mindset and a unique blend of strategic, business, technical/engineering and leadership skills. In addition, his excellent interpersonal and communication qualities allow him to interact and build relationships at all levels and cross-functionally, from C-Suite to shop floor, and with customers and suppliers alike. Brian has a strong engineering background with over 40 years of experience in a number of industries, including 30 years in filtration where he is the named inventor on 12 international patents.
