In my position, I will be serving two (2) schools:Westfield Elementary & Arbor View ElementaryEssential Duties:1. Instruct children.2. Implement the various programs designed to achieve the educational philosophy, goals, and objectives of the district.3. Guarantee that every child shall have an equal opportunity for education.4. Provide experiences and activities designed to motivate students to achieve to the maximum of their capabilities in learning new skills and concepts.5. Create and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning.6. Encourage and help each child to develop a sense of worth, dignity and purpose.7. Assess the capabilities of each child and provide instruction relative to that child's ability to learn.8. Refer students with special needs to the Student Support Team.9. Prepare lesson plans for each day.10. Allocate learning time for each subject area according to the district's time allocation guidelines.11. Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction according to student needs.12. Keep accurate records for each child as required by the principal and the district.13. Requisition instructional materials and supplies as they are required.14. Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.15. Attend and participate in meetings called by the principal or district administrators.16. Prepare for and conduct or participate in appropriate parent-teacher conferences.17. Cooperate and work with parents.18. Participate in staff development programs authorized by the district superintendent.19. Implement all district rules, regulations, practices and policies.20. U-14 Boys Soccer Coach

• Organized and introduced individual and team sports to students.• Oversaw physical fitness and training in a variety of different challenges and exercises (mile run, heavy ropes, sprints, floor work).• Oversaw all interscholastic sporting events.• Attended all Athletic Director meetings within the Tri-County Catholic Conference.• Worked collaboratively with the entire faculty throughout the school year.• Participated in professional development opportunities and share in the planning for achieving academic goals.

Coach the U12 & U16 Boys Team

* Accommodated the special needs of students, ages 18-22 years old, with learning, physical, emotional/behavioral, and/or cognitive disabilities in the Transition Program.* Serve as a liaison between the transition program and local area businesses to encourage the further development of school-to-work opportunities.* Provided job training and workplace mentoring to students in community-based job sites.* Evaluate the job performances of students at their community-based job sites.
