Served as a workforce management liaison to ensure a proper partnership with store operations teams and human resources teams.

Leveraging retail store and headquarters process experience, led business efforts to launch an interactive item management system incorporating vendor product responsibilities. Successfully eliminated spreadsheet and email correspondence activities related to item introduction to reduce market launch time. Developed item management workflows to ensure proper communication with multiple functional areas at Roundy’s headquarters (supply chain, marketing, merchandising, and pricing).

Transitioned focus from retail store technology to enterprise item management technology. Fostered a relationship with business owners to bridge the gap between business process and technology. Served as a business process and change management expert to ensure transition to the Retalix HQ item management system was successful. Developed and executed plans to transition legacy store/host systems (Retalix IMS and Retalix CIX) over to the newer HQ platform. Provided support to all system users to ensure a seamless transition.

Greater Milwaukee Area

Responsible for introducing new technology to independent retailers. Planned implementation procedures with independent owners and management teams to ensure smooth transitions to new technology. Developed training documentation and held interactive training sessions with store teams on a series of systems offered by Roundy’s. Systems included IBM 4690 Supermarket Application (IBM SA), Retalix RBX system offering DSD receiving services, price maintenance functionality, and data collection functions for inventory management.
