I have a driven passion for good retailing founded on a healthy respect for your people and your customer. I have been focused in the retail market for 20 exciting years under various Leadership/Management positions. I pride my leadership style to be down to earth humble and open ended. I habitually look past the now, towards what is achievable and possible while still working hard to achieve what is currently important. I naturally look to improve productivity and business operations with a common sense approach that is geared towards making work easier and more enjoyable. Under my scope of leadership/Management I have been responsible for resources of 50 to 1000 personnel and up to 19 retail locations all across Western Canada. I have a natural ability to connect with my teams and to help them understand their responsibilities. I am better suited for team and group orientated tasks. I excel at connecting company vision with all levels of any team.Financially I am responsible for up to 250 million in Sales and have always carried success with growth exceeding all expectations on any target. I achieve this not just by driving the numbers, rather building knowledge and teaching my teams to build realistic targets and to have a basic understanding that numbers growth will always come with solid, consistent, communicated plans and a healthy respect for your team, guest, and competitor. I am capable of learning or helping to develop any corporate strategy from small updates to large roll outs. I have an understanding of the communication required to ensure all levels and channels understand their roles and involvement.When I’m not working for Princess auto. I’m a father of 3 amazing and very busy children. Blake my daughter and Brooks and Hunter my two sons. I’m a Husband to my Beautiful Wife Kimberly and enjoying being a coach in West Kelowna minor hockey U7 and U9 divisions. I love all sports and have a belief that it’s important to have balance and correlation with your career passion and extracurricular activities.
