A program manager with an extensive background in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing US Navy electronic equipment for surface and subsurface ships. As a natural leader, whether it was in my younger years as a volunteer fire fighter, my days in the Navy, or now, as Assistant Program Manager (APM), my abilities have always been best suited for Program Management.Let me explain why I am the best at what I do. It was June 9, 2009 and I was leaving for Navy boot camp. At that time I didn’t have the slightest of clue what a US Naval Destroyer or any naval ship looked like besides an aircraft carrier. A mere 3 years after being stationed on my first ship, a destroyer, I was not only a member of 5 of 8 shipboard training teams; I was a key role player. What does that mean? In a short period of time I was able to learn new systems inside and out, take that knowledge and train other sailors, both junior and senior, on expected actions. I bring this type of dedication and motivation to the table each day at Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations (PMW 120). A place where I am given the opportunity to lead from the front, but also a place of which provides unlimited learning potential from those I get to work with each day.
Listed skills include C4Isr Systems, Navigation Systems, Troubleshooting, Radar, and 23 others.
