I am an information systems expert with 30 years of experience of research and development first as an academic at the Universities of Queensland (Australia), Exeter and Skövde (Sweden), and more recently as Information Systems Director at Certus Technology Associates. I have participated in a number of EU and national projects related to healthcare informatics, interoperability, Open Source Software and Open Standards, and distributed development. I have particular interests in the socio-technical aspects of information systems development and in technologies for asset sharing, most recently through semantic web technologies.
