About Brian Lockard

I excel at building and leading teams that can scale ideas profitably. In 2020 I cofounded BALA Footwear and grew the business and team from idea through acquisition in four years. In the early stages I successfully led development and go to market of the Brand, first product line, and E-commerce Channel. In 2021 I transition to CEO to scale the business. In that role I raised multiple rounds of capital, diversified distribution in wholesale, and led the acquisition to a strategic buyer. Previous to BALA I held leadership roles in Marketing, E-commerce, and Global Strategy at Nike and JP Morgan Chase. Today I lead the DTC Gerber Gear with full P&L responsibility.
