R&D Project Manager (PRINCE2) and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) with a strong chemical and biopharmaceutical background.R&D Project Manager (PRINCE2), founder and CSO of EpiDiscoverY a Contract Research Organization (CRO) performing phage display technology, to identify future lead structures as tool compounds, future pharmaceuticals and fluorescence based assay development for companies and collaborations with academia. This work includes effective management and innovation of company projects from start to finish. Estimation, activity planning, taking care of budgets, stakeholders and product-based planning.Project Manager and former Leader of the AntiVenom Venture, a consortium developing tool compounds and inhibitors against snake toxins. Comprising of many stakeholders and steering groups organized in a common endeavor to ultimately produce synthetic antivenoms, which can neutralize snakevenom in envenomed victims. Currently, my biggest success originates from one of our Proof of Concept (PoC) projects, with the aim of commercialization of anti-toxins, involving drug discovery and development of peptides. My peptide strategy is a promising avenue and my latest brand named Serpentides could be a game changer, and we have issued patent in America.Lohse B. et al Patent WO2019185593 - MYOTOXIN-NEUTRALIZING PEPTIDES (2019).As CSO, R&D Project Manager and group leader I assure a innovative strategy, ensuring efficient system integration, data management and excellent people skills. On a daily basis, I drive many different types of projects, small and large (chemical, biochemical and biological) and have the overall responsibility of the research programs and EpiDiscoverY. This also include portfolio and strategy management and reporting to companies with whom we have a contract, taking care of budgets and people management responsibility.I have a proactive and flexible mind-set and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across areas and disciplines in the value chain in discovery and drug development.An important key element to a successful department is teamwork, and here focus should be on trust, communication and effective leadership. This includes continuously inspiring the scientific staff; see to it that they are constantly challenged intellectually, and describing the team's common goals ensuring a collective responsibility for success.
