This includes domestic and international manufacturing locations.I also serve as a process and support subject matter expert for over 1500 OJT (on-the-job training) items within the Learning Management System to ensure that over 4000 hourly employees are accurately tracked and qualified for the specific jobs that they learn on the shop floor. I serve as tier 2 support for the integration between the OJT qualification from our Learning Management System to our hourly time and attendance system which allows only qualified operators to be scheduled for overtime based on the existing union contract.From the months of December through February, I serve as a Supervisor for H-D's SWE (simulated work environment) training as part of the on-boarding program for over 1200 contingent workers that join the organization temporarily to ramp up production in preparation for spring delivery. As a SWE Supervisor, I facilitate a unique experiential based training that involves an engaging mix of classroom and assembly line exercises that submerges participants in the world of lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) tools as Harley uses them. Through this class, all new H-D employees learn about key manufacturing concepts such as 5S, Standardization, Quality, and Safety while working in a team environment.
