My wife and I opened Lorence Martial Arts Studio, LLC at a time when I wasn't planning to start a martial arts school... but I always wanted to. After starting in Milwaukee, we moved ourselves to Waukesha and brought the school with us - we basically had to start over after 2 years of growth in Milwaukee. My goal is to grow my school large enough to make it a full-time vocation and quite my "day job". I am the sole instructor (with friends for rare back up) and train both children and adults. The adult and teen market is my focus - children always show up in martial arts schools in America. It takes more work to pull in adults, and even more to get teenagers.

Greater Milwaukee Area

After 6 years as an Epic trainer in Cadence, Grand Central, & Prelude, including 3 as a senior trainer and Epic Principal Trainer, I have made a great transition into the supervisor of operations for Aurora's Greater Milwaukee South market's GI clinics. This includes 3 "home" clinics, which currently includes 6 physicians and 6 APCs, and we are continuing to grow - searching for 2 more APCs, 2 more physicians, & 1 physician is starting in September. There are currently 15 support staff that report to me.I not only handle the day-to-day operations of these clinics and lead the staff, but I fortunately get to be involved with much of our growth and optimization projects and decisions. This is my first major leadership job outside of running my own martial arts school. It is giving me a great platform to learn, grow, and be a benefit to my employer.
