Before I started my coaching and speaking business, I often worked in 9 to 5 (8am-10pm!) jobs, in management, at and with places that believed they had terrific cultures. I experienced firsthand the gap between promised culture and lived experience. I realized that almost everyone has good intentions, but that intentions alone do not create good leaders or healthy cultures. I began to focus on leadership’s primary challenge: the fact that you are responsible for outcomes that you can influence but not control. I saw that leaders who were able to do this attracted both success and high quality team members. Those who could not eventually struggled. I was driven to discover what separated the two groups.That core issues still drives me today. My keynotes, workshops, coaching programs, and book help growth-minded leaders create better outcomes via improved conversations, exceptional collaboration, and the confidence that comes with stacking success on success. My goal is for my company to always live up to the following core values:ACCOUNTABILITY: We value holding ourselves and each other accountable. That means we celebrate our successes and we analyze our failures to see what we can learn from them. GROWTH: We believe that our business, our clients, and each of us should focus on getting better. That means we are self-aware enough to know we're not perfect, humble enough to learn, and brave enough to experiment. KINDNESS: We believe even the toughest lessons can be delivered with empathy and concern for the other party. We also believe that sometimes the kindest thing you can do for someone is tell them an uncomfortable truth with compassion. CHARACTER: We believe that the difference between success and failure comes down to what you do when decisions are the toughest. For us, this means accepting reality, looking challenges in the eye, and co-creating solutions even when they're not easy. HAPPINESS: We believe that happiness is an authentic expression of freedom, joy, and fun. It can be shared with others or enjoyed individually. We embrace happiness as an essential part of our mission, recognizing that it not only enhances productivity but also contributes to the well-being and satisfaction of ourselves and our clients.These core values drive our business and our passion for leadership development and culture design.
