Before I started my coaching and speaking business, I often worked in 9 to 5 (8am-10pm!) jobs, in management, at and with places that believed they had terrific cultures. I experienced firsthand the gap between promised culture and lived experience. I realized that almost everyone has good intentions, but that intentions alone do not create good leaders or healthy cultures. I began to focus on leadership’s primary challenge: the fact that you are responsible for outcomes that you can influence but not control. I saw that leaders who were able to do this attracted both success and high quality team members. Those who could not eventually struggled. I was driven to discover what separated the two groups.That core issues still drives me today. My keynotes, workshops, coaching programs, and book help growth-minded leaders create better outcomes via improved conversations, exceptional collaboration, and the confidence that comes with stacking success on success. For us, this means accepting reality, looking challenges in the eye, and co-creating solutions even when they're not easy. HAPPINESS: We believe that happiness is an authentic expression of freedom, joy, and fun. It can be shared with others or enjoyed individually.
