As the worldwide Johnson and Johnson EHS&S Due Diligence and Integration Senior Manager, Mr. Lubbert leads the EHS component of company acquisitions, licensing agreements and divestitures. He also oversees the EHS&S integration of new acquisitions - transferring and implementing J&J EHS&S requirements into these new companies in a timely fashion to address risks/liabilities and contribute to the success of new business. He also oversees and supports the overall EHS processes related to final divestiture of facilities to ensure compliant closure and to minimize future liabilities related to property. Mr. Lubbert is an integral part of all due diligence business teams and as such, regularly interacts with commercial and supply chain leaders, Business Development leaders, Real Estate, Finance and Legal employees. Externally, he engages with EHS&S assessment providers and regulators. His responsibilities include, in collaboration with Business Development, leading and coordinating EHS due diligence assessments of new businesses and potential real estate acquisitions or divestitures; prepares and submits business cases and financial estimates to justify resources needed to close EHS compliance gaps that may exist upon acquisition; supports J & J Real Estate on property transactions, lease negotiations, extensions, and terminations; partners with the applicable Regional/Campus or Enterprise leaders and local site management to lead EHS integration planning and execution activities, prepares action plans, timelines and budgets to bring new acquisitions into conformance with J&J standards. Mr. Lubbert also mentors, coaches and provides training and technical assistance to newly acquired companies regarding compliance with regulatory and J&J EHS&S requirements.

Responsibility for developing and overseeing programs related to integration of EHS with new MD&D business acquisitions and to minimize future environmental liabilities related to property divestitures.
