Intrepid Bioinformatics is a start-up venture located in Louisville, KY that offers an online genetic research data repository. Intrepid Bioinformatics was established by the University of Louisville's biotech business incubator, MetaCyte Business Labs. Following the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, Intrepid provides researchers, laboratories, and other organizations dealing in genetic research the ability to store their data online, collaborate with other users, and perform statistical analysis using their own software packages through a series of open APIs. My time with Intrepid saw me take the lead of multiple business and IT projects.
