I once told my fourth grade teacher that I was bored during class. She proceeded to lay it on me straight - "if you're bored, its because you're boring." My pride could only respond by saying that I'm not a boring person and that I'll prove her wrong. So ever since I've been a constant seeker of new skills, new experiences, and new connections.Thankfully, my hubris has mellowed down over the years but not my passion to bring the multitude of skills, experiences, and connections I've acquired for a great cause.In my 9+ years as a nonprofit professional, I've been fortunate to experience multiple ways to make an impact in community such as: creating and facilitating trainings, coordinating events, recruiting organizations, coaching individuals to reach their full potential, collaborating across agencies, developing and managing partnerships, creating compelling videos, leveraging social media, and utilizing technology in creative ways.I love making new connections.
