Start-up business focused on offshore delivery of revenue cycle services to healthcare providers, grew to $6MM revenue at the time of my departure.Founder of this company, responsible for all aspects of business development including service design and implementation, sales and marketing, and team development.• Created an innovative environment to bring medical coding into the 21st century, centered around training, processes and technology, allowing us to grow our team to 600 within five years.• Drove a company culture around quality, resulting in incremental sales to 80% of customers, less than 1% rework, coding accuracy exceeding 95%, and 30% reduction in cost relative to onshore services. Managed attrition under 5% where the offshore norm is 25%.• Developed an implementation model that greatly reduced dependence on client IT resources, allowing a new client implementation to be delivered in weeks, providing for speedy revenue growth.• Directly involved in selling each of our client relationships, usually in a solution-oriented, consultative selling role. Revenue grew to $6MM in my time with the company.• Opened three offshore processing centers, hired the management teams, led all operational processes and monitoring; also, directly responsible for planning and managing finances of the centers.
