Brian Macdonald is a Big Data and Data Science Cloud Architect at Oracle. Colleagues describe him as "During Oracle’s Exadata ExCite review, I had the pleasure of working with Brian in my role as Exadata administrator for Giant Eagle. Brian was the first person ever to get me to understand the purpose and value of “Big Data” – for which he deserves a medal! He was able to clearly and concisely explain the emerging technologies and advanced solutions that were available and to justify the differentiators of Oracle’s solutions over their competitors.
