• Create and managed student databases of 75+ students to improve accessibility using advanced techniques in Excel and Access
• Create and manage social media outlets for Masters of Natural Resources Stewardship (MNRS) degree program
• Organize multiple social events for graduate students in the FRS department to network with each other and share research

Vermont State Parks

• Led a crew of 3 young adults to maintain hiking trails, mitigate hazards on the trail, and assess the quality of trails to determine future projects in 5 state parks
• Adhered to Vermont Forest, Parks, & Recreation (FPR) conservation policy on trail construction and minimizing impact on the land
• Cultivated a working partnership with Vermont FPR to increase efficiency of existing and future trail projects distribution and identify priority areas for conservation
• Utilized GPS and GIS applications to create project maps and layout new trails for future crews to implement
• Encouraged cohesiveness and efficiency through teambuilding activities; taught leadership and backpacking fundamentals
• Managed food and travel budget of $1500 for seasonal crew

• Conducted river restoration activities such as seeding and maintaining native grasses and wildflowers, planting and maintaining native forbs, shrubs, and trees according to municipal Land Management Plans
• Managed prairie dog population disease by spraying for plague-carrying fleas in accordance with municipal and state Wildlife Management Guidelines
• Monitored health and reproduction of Black Footed Ferret experimental population via catch and release methods on Soapstone Prairie natural area as part of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Recovery Plan
• Prepared prairie pasture for Laramie Foothills Bison Herd reintroduction by inspecting and repairing fence integrity
• Controlled noxious weeds by hand pulling and spraying “General-use Pesticides”
• Ignited prescribed burn as drip torcher to eliminate invasive vegetation in an abandoned irrigation ditch (~100 yards) on city property
