Additional responsibilities of my position include the evaluation and implementation of novel advances in assay development, screening technology, instrumentation, robotics and liquid handling. For the past two years I have chaired a multidisciplinary site-wide committee that aims to improve all aspects of the drug discovery process using informatics, automation and miniaturization.During my Pfizer career, I've received my MBA degree and have been engaged with the business side of the operation in addition to my R&D role. I'm particularly interested in Outsourcing and for the past 12 months have coordinated activities in my zone related to offshore partnerships with a number of Asian-based CROs. This included project management of ongoing programs in Asia and tactical and transactional reagent sourcing to support internal and external programs. It is in the area of business development with outsourcing and building CRO alliances that I would like to direct my future career.
