My name is Brian Martindale, founder and Executive Director of Cause Adventures, a Colorado 501c3 charitable corporation. The formation of this movement is the culmination of over twenty years of my experiences on all levels of outdoor leadership and professional production of adventure travel. The purpose of our mission is to produce extraordinary adventure travel experiences as a catalyst for people to accomplish exceptional fundraising challenges for their chosen causes. Our charitable and educational mission is to inform the transformative traveler toward fundraising and experiential success. We also run programs that benefit schools and municipalities of our host communities as well as charities across the nation. Our annual signature production is Just Ride America, a fundraising bicycle event across the American continent, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Statue of Liberty, for 400 very special fundraising superheroes starting the summer of 2015. The idea is to combine the extraordinary bicycling experience of powering one’s self across a continent with the achievement of unparalleled fundraising goals for the just humanitarian cause of the bicycler’s choice. Experiencing the largeness of the fundraising campaign, the duration of the adventure, and the depth of personal connections within the moving social club is what makes a Cause Adventure purposeful, meaningful, and special. We know people who choose to take on the Just Ride America challenges will face life with a new and very positively charged perspective.Combining this with the experience of greatly supporting a cause that a person is emotionally attached to will create incredible and powerful, if not the most meaningful, emotional personal experiences of a person’s lifetime. This is at the core of why I work to create opportunities for people to serve their positive influence upon the human community.
