Brian Castelli is a Principal at PwC where he leads the firm's Fraud Management practice area as part of the Financial Crimes Unit (FCU) and Cyber Risk & Regulatory platform. He and his team help companies achieve measurable reduction in the “total cost of fraud” including lower fraud losses, lower operational cost of fraud controls, improved customer experience, and improved compliance. He has significant experience with fraud program transformation, fraud controls, selection and integration of fraud prevention technology, identity and access management, fraud detection analytics including ML/AI models, fraud operations, and investigations. Previously, Brian was a partner in PwC’s Forensics practice where he led the Banking & Capital Markets sector. His forensic experience includes matters related to securities laws, broker-dealer compliance, ERISA, regulatory reporting, bribery & corruption, and embezzlement. Brian frequently speaks on topics related to risk management, regulatory compliance, the latest fraud trends, and techniques for preventing and detecting fraud. Brian was awarded a US patent for a fraud and compliance risk detection system.
