I have served as Republic of Ireland Senior International Performance and Video Analyst for 12 years at 7 major International Tournaments from Euro 2004 to the EURO 2012 Finals, the the 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign and finishing with the 2016 Euro campaign. Highly experienced having provided Analysis expertise in 131 Internationals against the best players in the world from Zidane and Ronaldinho to Messi, Ronaldo and Iniesta and the world’s greatest teams, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Germany, France, Holland and Argentina. As a highly qualified Performance Analyst I’ve enjoyed a successful career as a soccer player and as a Nationally proven Coach and Manager and International Performance Analyst. I present Performance Analysis modules for the Football Association of Ireland at UEFA Pro Licence, UEFA ‘A’ and ‘B’, and University Level. Since 2002, I have developed a Senior International Career with the Republic of Ireland. Since February 2015 I have been employed by the prestigious school Newington College in the heart of Sydney Australia. I have a dual component as Director of Football (for the Senior school and our two Preparatory schools, Wyvern and Lindfield) as well as Mathematics and Humanities (History and Philosophy and Religious Studies) teacher. I teach students from Year 7-12 and have used all the school digital platforms, e.g. Canvas, Synergetic and a wide range of teaching resources Mathspace, Education Perfect etc. Currently completing my "Proficiency" Teaching status with NESA.I manage over 40 coaches and 900 boys in the Football Programme over 3 Campuses. I am contracted until early December, 2021. After 22 years teaching in the South West of Ireland as a full time Mathematics, History, Head of ICT and Head of Religious Education at the highly acclaimed Intermediate School, Killorglin, Co. Kerry (1980-2001) I was employed in a number of roles by the Football Association of Ireland (2001-2015) but principally as the Senior Republic of Ireland Head of Performance Analysis and UEFA "A" and Pro License Tutor and Presenter.
