As the Manager of Curriculum Development, my main responsibilities are:-Development of Interac's International Internship Program, and currently serving as the Internship Mentor and Coordinator responsible for the program. Supervising the quality of the Internship Program, ensuring participant satisfaction and maintaining relationships with sending institutions and universities.-Account Manager for Google AdWords, responsibility for SEM & SEO efforts in close contact with related sections. Achieved seasonal targets for Interac's Recruiting site for more than two years, managing a budget total of over $100,000 USD, and secured sufficient ROI and conversions to meet strategic goals.-Management, creation, and development of content for on-line resource network and in-house training site. Editor for content areas and regular newsletters, including text, photography, and design elements of all on-line content.-Support for Sales in the selection of materials, curricula and course outline design for business classes. Major clients included the Toyota, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, and Hitachi group companies, pharmaceutical companies including Chugai Pharma, GSK, Dai-Ichi Pharma, Taisho Pharma, Omron and other companies and government agencies such as the Tokyo Metro Subway, The Japanese Ministry of Transportation, Tokyo Civil Air Bureau, The National Aviation Safety College, The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Dept., Tokyo Immigration Authority, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA.)-Materials development for sales purposes to win new clients. -Special training seminars for public school teachers (elementary to senior high school levels.)-Responsibility for Language Consultant training and quality assurance of business English classes.

I was initially responsible for providing training to new Language Consultants, on-going training, performance evaluation and assessment, giving and giving feedback from clients. I also produced teaching materials and managed material production projects. Later, this position evolved more towards Assistant Language Teachers, and I designed and created the company's original Assistant Language Teacher training program, including a manual and training materials. On average, I trained Assistant Language Teachers or Language Consultants for thirty-five weeks per year, and trained a total of over 300 teachers, including all of the initial training groups that allow the company to penetrate the private Assistant Language Teacher market in Japan.

I taught English writing classes at the Shonan Fujisawa Campus, Dept. of Environmental Information. All classes were taught in a CALL environment using Movable Type as a base platform. Due to the unique nature of the classes, I developed all syllabi, materials, and programmed a customized learning environment for each class, each term for three terms. Topics covered included Human Security, Colombian narcoterrorism, poverty, racism, interracial relationships, gun control, reproductive rights, and drug control. As a result of the unique teaching method, materials, and environment, students who completed each term's class increased their writing by 30% or more in terms of total word count per term, and showed a marked improvement in accuracy, logical organization, and structure.

I was a participant on the JET Programme in Miyagi Prefecture. I taught English at Kurihara Agricultural Senior High School, Wakayanagi Senior High School, Tsukidate Boy's Senior High School, Wakayanagi Junior High School, Ishikoshi Junior High School, Wakayanagi Elementary School, and Izumi Senior High School.

As a certificated bilingual English-Spanish ESL Aide, I assisted instruction at Jean Farb Middle School and Woodrow Wilson Middle School. Main areas were English, Math, Computers, U.S. History, Physical Education, and Science. I often worked closely with school administration to help communicate with students' families, as well as working on "SSS" (Student Support Supervision) on a daily basis.
