I took over the engineering organization in 2011 after our founding CTO left the company. During my tenure as VPE we launched, grew our customer base to over 100,000, and tripled the size of our team.As VP of Engineering, I was the lead technologist in the company and reported to the CEO. My organization was responsible for the end to end design, development, deployment, and support of the product and technology stack. In addition I worked actively with the executive management team providing strategic and tactical support across the entire company.I managed 10 direct reports in a 30+ member engineering organization that included frontend, backend, mobile, operations, data, and security teams.
