• Operated as the Product point person for the DataStax Enterprise Platform for both Engineering and Sales, taking a holistic view of DSE providing vision and guidance to the Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams. Performed market and customer research with corporate development to identify business opportunities for DataStax. Provided business plans and recommend solutions that fix problems, which are urgent, pervasive, and that the market will pay to solve.• Managed the complete product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical delivery for DataStax Enterprise Analytics, DSE Analytics Solo, and Advanced Replication. Evangelized the products internally to stakeholders and externally to customers and the field, through technical presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on training. Presented product roadmap presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.• Worked with the office of the CTO, Engineering and Product Management leadership to create and deliver standard product management materials needed for product development (e.g. statement of direction, product requirements, marketing requirements). Worked with Marketing to develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan for DSE and DSE Analytics, collaborating with all departments to execute. • Evaluated technology partners to complement DataStax offerings and worked with partners to design and deliver product integrations to market. Identified and helped prioritize partnering opportunities with the Director of Strategic Partnerships and other stakeholders. Architected and developed multiple product integrations, and enabled partner development efforts, and worked with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring integrations to market and to evangelize them.

• Led IBM's Information Management graph and analytics strategy, providing though leadership, developing a cohesive cross-brand analytics vision, and designing roadmap plans and organizational changes to realize this vision. Worked with senior IBM architects to provide a Big Data platform strategy enabling enterprises to address growing data and analytics needs.

• Led technical efforts of in-database partner applications, including SAS, Cloudera, Revolution Analytics, and Mathworks, leading to over 20 partner offerings, and led IBM synergy integrations with SPSS, Cognos, BigInsights, and Streams, leading to 8 products. Identified integration points between partner applications and Netezza, worked with technical counterparts to architect and prototype solutions, and supported engineering teams to deliver final products.• Served as technical leader for all aspects of in-database analytics. Identified new product features to enable more in-database applications, architected solutions, and helped bring new features to market. Regularly supported numerous sales teams providing analytics and in-database expertise to customer briefings, up to executive level, helping sales teams significantly exceed global sales goals. Provided prototype code in support of proof-of-concept sales engagements.• Designed and implemented K-means clustering, agglomerative clustering, and random sampling routines for the Netezza Analytics product. Led the design and architecture of dozens of data analysis algorithms.• Provided support to product management and product marketing to bring Netezza, Netezza Analytics and PureData System for Hadoop to market. Aided product management by identifying key road blocks, market differentiating opportunities and technical guidance to meet release goals.
