Critical Care Rn - Float Pool, Critical Care Unit
Current• Provide compassionate, proficient, patient-centered care in float pool across multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Intensive Inpatient Rehab, Emergency Department and Critical Care• Proactively cooperates within interdisciplinary critical care team to ensure high-quality patient care and experiences• Independently monitors and titrates IV drips such as Dobutamine, Levophed, Vasopressin, Neo-synephrine, Insulin, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Precedex, Fentanyl, Versed and Propofol• Implement diagnostic and analytic skills combined with advanced therapeutic interventions to monitor and trouble-shoot support devices such as cardiac monitoring, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central venous pressure devices, ETT tubes, mechanical ventilation, Bipap, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps• Provide patient education and pre/post care for cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, sheath removal, ICD/pacemaker implantation, stress tests and cardiac ablation• Aid physicians and providers with bedside procedures such as cardioversion, rapid sequence intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and thoracentesis
