SCAP-security-quide is an opensource group dedicated to improving the SCAP stig used for validating and certifying compliance to industry security metrics. I am a contributing member of the scap-security-guide.

•Configured and setup a RHEL server to be an ansible CLI server with 2-factor authentication. •Developed multiple ansible roles and playbooks to perform many day to day operational tasks such as checking for the largest files in a given directory, start and stop tomcat instances on a platform, identify the local accounts on a server, push out SSH authentication keys to servers for a given user, pushout and/or update a root password for multiple servers, perform Linux hardening based on a custom DISA STIG customization, etc.•Configured and setup the Ansible Tower application. Setup roles based on ActiveDirctory security groups for different DevOps teams, configured a dynamic inventory based on ServiceNow for each DevOps team, wrote multiple job templates for DevOps teams to access playbooks.•Configured and setup several Openshift 3.11 clusters consisting of 9 nodes each.•Developed several container/docker examples for the Openshift environment to deploy a Java WAR file as the ROOT WAR for tomcat 9 running in a UBI RHEL 7 image.•Configured, maintained and administered a Redhat Satellite server to maintain Redhat subscriptions and patch management for dev, stage, and production servers.•Investigated and deployed a SpringBoot application in a container running standalone and in the Openshift environment.•Setup, configured and maintained a corporate Gitlab server for all of Maritz personnel.•Developed a Perl script for ServiceNow auto discovery of Apache servers, Apache VirtualHosts, and SSL Certificates.

My job at ECG was to provide Linux based solutions to our customers. The solutions are as varied as custom scripts, custom code (perl, java, nodejs), system administration, system integration, linux hardening, and database conversions.A few of the solutions are:• Developed a Security Realm for tomcat 6 to integrate ACE two factor authentication with an existing customer portal.• Developed custom XCCDF (server hardening) profiles for customers to be used for security audit scans and to provide the remediation to bring servers back into compliance.• Implement and provide support for the Red Hat Satellite ( a system management platform for the Linux infrastructure).• Developed a plugin to SVN to allow a customer to authenticate (via Active Directory) code check in, check out and integrate with Jeeves.• Install, support and design a PGP universal server installations with desktop encryptin.• Developed and taught entry level Linux classes.• Support of EDI Java parsing application handling the parsing and processing of 810, 812, and 832 EDI documents.• Development and support of web applications for corporate customer provisioning. Features included processing of purchase orders; determining correct taxing jurisdiction; retrieving, processing and archiving email.• Design and Team lead of Java developers for several large client applications. Applications accessed data stored in corporate databases allowing clients the ability to perform the Create, Read, Update, & Delete (CRUD) functions. • Contributed the integration of the Turbine Connection Pool to the Cocoon XSP ESQL module. • Designed and implemented the Intelligent Fault Locater (IFL), a knowledge based expert system, to aid flight line mechanics troubleshoot and diagnose problems with the AH-64A Apache helicopter.• Researched & investigated AI methodologies for automating helicopter mission planning.Technologies: Lisp, Artificial Intelligence Implementations.
