CurrentBrian attended the University of San Francisco graduating with honors with a degree in business management. During his undergraduate studies, Brian was selected as a Davies Scholar. In 2005, Brian graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law and immediately went to work in “big law,” representing several Fortune 100 clients as a business litigation and trial attorney.In 2012 Brian started a boutique business law firm, focusing on representing a diverse group of business clients ranging from private equity, venture capital and operating companies from start-up to established global companies with revenues exceeding $100MM. In that capacity, and separately engaged as a business consultant, Brian has served as a key strategic advisor to CEO’s and Boards of Directors for numerous companies in a variety of industries. Recently, Brian has been invited as a venture partner for a venture capital and related private equity fund. In August of 2018, Brian was invited as a professor, teaching business management and entrepreneurship at Chapman University.Random facts:He was a Huntington Beach lifeguard for several years, and competed in over 15 half-ironman triathlons, and Ironman Coeur d'Alene. Brian's favorite triathlon is Wildflower's Half-Iron (Paso Robles, CA), where the entire family goes wine tasting for the weekend. What he does in his spare time:Brian golfs at Sea Cliff CC, surfs every day he can, and spends time at the beach with his wife and young son (who is also learning to surf and golf!). Philanthropy: In 2011, Brian founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has since raised over $3,000,000 for Orange County-based charities focusing on issues facing our youth; the organization has grown over the years, and Brian continues to serve as Chairman of the Board. Brian also serves on the Governing Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters Orange County/Inland Empire and volunteers pro-bono as the organization’s attorney-of-record.
