After serving in various roles within HBE LLP over the course of seven and a half years, I was elevated to the role of partner in June 2022. During my internship experience at HBE, I have had the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of projects and taxation issues. I have had tax experience with 1040's, 1120's, 1120S'​, 1065's, 1041's, and 990's. Rather than just help out with the preparation, I have been fully responsible for the projects. I have dealt with a variety of different types of businesses and individuals. Through the preparation of these returns, I have had the opportunity to regularly communicate with the clients. Beginning in the fall of 2021, I have started serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Concordia, teaching the Income Tax, one of the capstone classes for accounting majors at CUNE. In my role, I focus on covering some of the core concepts related to income taxation, help provide a foundational understanding for how tax legislation is shaped and how the Internal Revenue Code and IRS work, build in real-world examples from my time in public accounting, and help prepare students for the CPA exam.

During my time at Congressman Fortenberry's campaign, I was involved in a wide variety of tasks related to running the campaign and keeping everything operating. From a financial standpoint, I was responsible for handling fundraising and collections and also for keeping an eye on expenses.
