Brian Mortensen is a Senior Account Executive at Justworks at Justworks. He possess expertise in final cut pro, video production, broadcast, broadcast journalism, storytelling and 17 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Brian has been an all-around star during his tenure as Justworks. He crushed it from the beginning when he started as an SDR in 2019 and quickly asserted himself as a top performer and leader on the floor while moving up to a Senior Account Executive. Brian has thrived in some challenging environments to make President’s Club three times and multiple Winner’s Circles. Brian is politely persistent when working his deals, always has a great gameplan for each call, and has exceptional communications skills from his time in broadcasting. What impressed me the most about Brian is his ability to connect with everyone on the team - whether it’s a tenured rep who’s been at the company for five years or a new rep just joining the company. He was always willing to help reps who has questions about sales strategies, overcoming objections, or product knowledge. I would highly recommend Brian to any sales organization looking to add a tremendous person and rep to their team.", "If you're lucky enough to be on the opposite end of one of Brian's phone call's, it's going to be tough to hang up the phone. There is nobody at Justworks that is more composed and/or eloquent on the phone as he is. Brian started a few months after I began at Justworks and if you were a newcomer, you'd think Brian had been with the company for years. The best part about Brian is that he's an even better coworker which is hard to believe considering how outstanding he is as an SDA. He offers exceptional mentorship to his peers and has the knowledge base that managers covert in our Account Executives. Brian was an absolute pleasure to be on the same team with and I'm excited to see him progress through new roles at Justworks.", and "From the moment I met Brian in orientation, he was already shouldering the responsibility of promoting camaraderie, participation, and positive energy. When I was on his team every day he was on top of the leader board for dials, talk time and DM connects. Brian's work ethic, willingness to mentor, and positive disposition make him an asset to our team and Justworks is incredibly lucky to have him."

Supervising Multimedia ProducerMlb Advanced Media Feb 2013 - Feb 2019My time at MLB Advanced Media was one of rewarding professional growth over seven years in a fast-paced, exciting organization known worldwide as one of the leaders in sports media. After starting as a video editor responsible for just one game's worth of video content, I earned shifts as an original content editor creating highly-placed videos such as the "MLB.com FastCast", "Daily Dash", and "Top 5 Plays of the Day". Eventually I began to supervise a handful of other editors as a coordinating producer, assisting with editorial decisions and assigning specialty content. My role grew to serving as a floor supervisor, where I help manage daily and long-term projects, oversee breaking news and game coverage, and quality-check all elements of post-production before videos are published to the world. Over my seven years at MLB we made drastic improvements in four key areas, capped by a 25% gain in content output from 2016 to 2017. Our focus was on content strategy, creative ideation, distribution, and optimization. We delivered content for many blue-chip digital and broadcast partnerships such as YouTubeTV and MBC in Korea. And, we saw incredible growth of the league's social media presence as tastes expanded across multiple platforms. These accomplishments in an extremely demanding environment serve as cornerstones of my professional growth at MLB.
