As an impending Computer Science graduate with a concentration in Software Development (May 2024), I am excited to embark on my journey into the tech industry. My passion for technology, fueled by a lifelong interest in video games and computers, has driven me to pivot from a career as a mechanic—a role that honed my problem-solving skills and attention to detail—to the dynamic and creative field of software development.During my academic journey, I have actively sought out opportunities to apply my learning in practical settings, culminating in a collaborative project where we developed a web application that allows users to create shared calendars. This project not only enhanced my technical skills in JavaScript, and Tailwind but also underscored the importance of teamwork, communication, and organization in achieving common goals.With proficiency in modern programming languages and a keen interest in both front-end and back-end development, I aim to establish myself as a Full Stack Developer or Mobile App Developer. I am particularly drawn to the versatility and impact of developing comprehensive web and mobile solutions that enhance user experience and accessibility.I thrive in team environments, bringing resourcefulness, effective communication, and a structured approach to my work. As I stand on the cusp of my professional career, I am eager to contribute to and learn from the innovative projects at the forefront of the tech industry. My transition from mechanic to developer reflects my belief in following one's passions and the continuous pursuit of growth, both personally and professionally.
