Brian joined CST Group in 1999. As a partner in the firm’s audit department, he provides assurance, tax, and management advisory services to clients. His expertise includes auditing of closely-held businesses, nonprofits and employee benefit plans. Brian also has extensive experience in tax planning and compliance for closely-held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, as well as providing management advisory services and IT consulting. Brian serves as the partner-in-charge of IT and is a member of the firm’s hiring and compensation committees. Prior to joining CST Group, Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Wilkes University and took a position as a staff accountant with a mid-size accounting firm. He has over 15 years of wide-ranging experience across many industries and is an authority on working with government contractors, technology companies, professional service companies, restaurants, and nonprofits. Brian learned the value of hard work and developed a strong work ethic at a young age by pitching in to help his family’s restaurant business in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Today, he approaches his client work with integrity, energy and enthusiasm and is regarded as a trusted advisor by both clients and colleagues.Brian resides in Reston, Va. with his wife and two young children. He appreciates Reston’s family-friendly environment and many outdoor activities.
