CurrentSold Eagle’s IPTV division (below) to Nighthawk, where responsibilities have evolved: customer support; accounting; territory sales; directing: engineering, manufacturing and new product launch.• Created (conceived, designed, developing & certifying) Smart Waterworks solutions (products & systems); building and executing go-to-market field sales strategy with partnering for distribution of GPS-located water sensors retrofitted inside McWane (Clow, Kennedy & M&H) fire hydrants with configurable multi-speed data logging and exception alerting electronics, plus distribution network mapping and “big data” analytics. Partnering for water metering solution. Developed water meter mesh radio transmit head. Exploring solutions for water quality and leak detection.• Directed multi-site (U.S. & India) engineering and certification of AMI Smart Meters and electric devices using multiple communications: cellular (CDMA, HSPA, LTE), RF mesh & ERT for wireless remote control: electric / water / gas meter readings and electric disconnect; distribution automation (Cap Bank Controller); and, industrial Machine-to-Machine sensors and switches.• Negotiated manufacturing contracts (multiple factories); managed parts flows, complex product build schedules; working factory processes to: lower costs, reduce failures, improve throughput. • Designed marketing collateral and successfully sold award-winning Cloud-based AMI Smart Grid system, including $1M+ sale, for remote: reads, disconnects, time-of-use, outage maps, pre-pay, voltage controls. Also, collecting and backhauling water and gas (ERT) meter readings.• Tripled electric Smart Meter field sales to 100+ investor-owned, co-op and municipal utilities by: multiplying touches (cold calls; trade shows; distributors: Stanion, Gorman; partners: Verizon).
