In Late 2017, my first book with Solution Tree was released. I co-authored this book on competency education with Jon Vander Els. The book is called - Breaking With Tradition: The Shift to Competency Based Learning in PLCs at Work. In 2022, I co-authored a second book with Jon entitled Unpacking the Competency-Based Classroom: Equitable, Individualized.

V & S School Solutions is a national provider of educational professional development services in the area of competency-based learning. It is co-owned by Brian M. Stack and Jonathan G. Vander Els. V & S School Solutions has worked with schools and school district on both short and long term contracts to engage in CBL work since 2017.

I have served since 2010 as the principal of this medium-sized high school in the southern part of New Hampshire. While in this role I received the NH High School Principal of the Year in 2017.
