Manage compact team of Kronos resources utilizing WFC 8.1 for 10,000+ diverse employees. As part of the Enterprise Application team, provide support for integration with Oracle HCM to manage timekeeping, accruals, human resources, payroll and financials. MVS Smalltalk was used in order to maximize performance while processing several million accounts.Technical Team Lead in the development of an interface using MVS Smalltalk to retrieve financial data from an outside company to update shareholder’s accounts with shares from their broker. Managed and enhanced existing VisualAge Smalltalk GUIs and business areas for Payments, Reorganizations, Financial Institutions, and Dividends. Responsible for production problem resolution, code release management and code synchronization among releases.Received company award for developing an in-house code versioning tool. This automated the process of managing code release and version control. Constructed GUI application to interface with the ENVY library and allow developers to easily and accurately build code release requests and store the data on DB2 tables for reporting to management.

Led a group of Smalltalk programmers for a major release of the Data Segregation and Security (DS&S) application. This system was designed to replace several layers of existing security and provide additional security functionality.Developed several releases of the DS&S user interface with VisualWorks Smalltalk using object-oriented methodology.Designed and developed APIs for DS&S using COBOL. These programs interpret messages from the client and use SQL to access the DB2 database.

Developed the Commodity Definition portion of the Opportunity Management System using Visual Smalltalk. This system provided managers with a tool for pricing through a user interface allowing access to data on mainframe DB2 tables.Participated in the development of populating the data warehouse, which structures data on DB2 tables for the Executive Information System (EIS). This system enabled marketing analysts to determine revenue, cost, and margin metrics by product, customer, and geographic areas.Participated in the development of the Network Demand Forecast (NDF) system that provided improved forecasting capabilities using COBOL, DB2, and SAS.

Assisted in the construction of the Consolidated Invoicing system to provide users with expanded billing and invoicing features. Used PowerBuilder to develop the user interface via COBOL and SQL to connect with DB2 tables.Enhanced the Field Ticketing system with new business requirements by developing new on-line IMS screens.
