Primary Responsibilities: • Research moderate to highly complex billing, claim processing and reimbursement issues. • Navigate medical documents including HCFAs and invoices in order to retrieve accurate data. • Communicate accurate and effective information to both insurance carriers and medical providers. • Report regularly to management on trends observed.

Responsibilities Include:-Carrying out the requests of adjusters and nurse case managers as it relates to the claimants.-Scheduling claimants for orthopedic services such as physical therapy, work hardening and functional capacity evaluations-Locating and credentialing providers-Following complex workflows as it applies to administrative tasks-Assisting with the management of a team of 10-14 patient advocates-Working with department supervisors to write procedural workflows-Handling escalated cases
