Reaching Higher is a non-profit, faith-based, collaborative organization that focuses on bringing true hope to the community. I have worked as part of the after-school program serving kindergarten through eighth-grade students, teaching various enrichment lessons, serving meals, and providing tutoring to our students.In 2022, Reaching Higher became part of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program in the state of California, which allowed us to increase our enrollment and reach within the Tulare City School system. We also were recognized as Non-Profit of the Year by the Tulare Chamber of Commerce in 2022.

Currently, I directly oversee TFA’s Kids ministry program including the TFA Kids leadership team, TFA Kids events, Sunday and Wednesday TFA Kids, and day-to-day functioning/preparation and organization of the ministry. I also oversee TFA’s Worship Team, including scheduling, song selection, & practices.While at Tulare First Assembly, I have reconstructed their children’s ministry by recruiting more volunteers, implementing a new curriculum, coordinating events with kids ministries in the surrounding area, and building relationships with both the children and their parents. I also have the opportunity to lead their worship team and have been able to establish a stable schedule and rehearsal times for the team.
