About Brianna Lax

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Enzyme Engineering & Structural Biology Group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Biosustain). I received my PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I worked in the lab of K. Dane Wittrup. My thesis work focused on the use and adaptation of protein engineering technologies for cancer immunotherapy, and in particular, the elucidation of the mechanism behind anti-CTLA-4 antibodies. My skillset includes yeast display, directed evolution, protein expression and purification, cell culture, mutational analysis, multicolor flow cytometry, and mouse models.
