• Welcome patients at the front desk and direct them throughout the hospital • Take phone calls and redirect callers to departments

• Record vitals (height, weight, pulse oximetry, temperature, and blood pressure), administer injections, and draw blood samples for lab tests• Administer EKGs, PFTs, and PCR tests• Prepare patient medical charts, complete medical billing, and admit patients

• Conduct water quality research under a collaboration between Clean Ocean Action, Save Barnegat Bay, and MATES, funded by a Water Quality Restoration and Federal 319(h) grant awarded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection• Direct water sampling for Ambient Monitoring, Upstream Sampling, and Wet Weather events• Perform water quality tests for physical parameters in situ and bacterial tests in the Save Barnegat Bay EcoCenter• Kickstart the Rally Ambassador Program as the Toms River Township Ambassador; attend and participate in township meetings to foster connections and awareness of community environmental projects

• Represent high school student researchers to work alongside Rally for Barnegat Bay Partners for testing and outreach• Partake in water quality testing, poster design, research presentations, and community outreach

• Organized and managed meetings for MATES student researchers in Rally for Barnegat Bay project

• Arrange non-profit organization beach cleanups along the Jersey Shore• Record minutes for council meetings• Develop fundraising events through outreach and social media

• Shadowed doctors, admitted patients, recorded vitals (height, weight, pulse oximetry, temperature), and administered EKGs, PFTs, and PCRs for COVID-19• Assisted front desk receptionists by preparing patient medical charts, completing medical billing, and restocking medical and office supplies

• Partake in community outreach and lessons for marine science enrichment• Utilize fish identification, field sampling, and data collection techniques.
