In my most recent work experience I was fortunate to work with an amazing team in San Diego, California at Aquacycl. I learned many new skills and techniques there to include water chemistry analysis. Working with Aquacycl to meet quickly changing needs and team goals was an honor and a challenge. The team left me feeling inspired about wastewater and technology. I left the position to follow my husband’s active duty orders to Quantico, Virginia in November of 2022. Prior to that, I completed a B.S. in Environmental Management from the University of West Florida. This degree program has given me a foundation in chemistry, biology, natural resource management, environmental law, GIS, and statistics. I have learned practical skills such as how to collect water samples, how to use Arc GIS, and how to conduct research and analyze data. My ultimate goal is to use my education and experience to work with individuals, businesses, and local governments to improve policies and practices that will lead to more efficient and sustainable communities. I believe small changes can yield amazing results!I have a very unique work experience, including working on a bomb squad in the Army for four years. Needless to say, I am very comfortable working under pressure! Also, while attending college, I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing group of people at the Military and Veterans Resource Center. At the MVRC I worked with marketing, fund raising, event planning, and customer service. I am excited to explore new chapters in the beautiful East Coast. I hope I can be the newest member of your team!
