With a widespread interest in the entertainment world, I have over ten years of experience in acting, singing, and modeling. I have played a diverse set of roles in both straight plays and musicals across the Midwest, and I am currently focusing more intensely on my work in commercial and film acting and professional modeling. My most recent credits include featured extra work in NFL Films' "Peyton's Places" and my first SAG role in the holiday film "Catfish Christmas."I received my BA in both theatre and political science from Saginaw Valley State University, participating in over 20 theatrical productions on their stage. I am also a proud alumna of the Open Jar Institute in NYC founded by Jeff Whiting, where I received intense acting and vocal training with professionals including JC Montgomery, James Gray, Kate Baldwin, and Stacia Fernandez. Post graduation, I've had the privilege of playing the role of Sonia in the late Marvin Hamlisch's musical They're Playing Our Song with world-renowned pianist, Kevin Cole. This production was attended and supported by Marvin's wife, Ms. Terre Blair.I am also an extremely passionate activist for civil rights, women's rights, animal rights, environmentalism, and mental health awareness. While working on my BA in Political Science at SVSU, I received numerous awards and nominations in writing. I was able to use these skills as an intern at the Bay Area Women's Center, where my passion for the non-profit sector grew immensely. My overall goal in life is to have a career where I am actively making a difference and providing a better life for future generations. My life's mission is to leave this world better than I found it.
