Insurance Support Analyst
Current• Process insurance forms from multiple insurance vendors including analyzing and editing applications, actual production history records, and acreage reports utilizing insurance company software, as well as internal processing software for more complex policy documents and specialized processing situations including written agreements.• Review and analyze insurance reporting forms for application of best practices for optimum customer risk management.• Enter and maintain insurance data in Farm Credit Services of America’s database and other software.• Identify reporting and processing requirements for specialized coverage situations to assist withdevelopment of processes and training materials.• Complete internal policy form reviews on revisions to assist with advising agent of implications and impact changes will have on customer policy.• Work with Insurance Company underwriters to resolve complex customer policy questions and differences, clarification of rules and system issues.• Negotiate with insurance company personnel regarding application of complex insurance rules.• Utilize multiple insurance company and government websites to obtain general information and to monitor progress regarding specific policies.• Assist in the development and delivery of training.• Participate in collaborative decision-making regarding insurance rules and development of processes.• Clarify and interpret underwriting rules for processing team members and for insurance staff in the marketplace.• Make independent decisions regarding implementation of insurance rules utilizing official regulatory resources.• Verify correct application of underwriting and actuarial calculations by insurance company software.• Monitor official publications to evaluate frequent federal and state rule changes, including formsrequirements, actuarial changes, and policy provision changes.
