Access Family Services (NC, SC) and Northstar Psychological Services (GA) were subsidiaries of Community Intervention Services (CIS), a national provider of community based behavioral health and substance abuse services. Access Family Services was acquired by Pathways Health and Community Support in October of 2020.

The MENTOR Network is a for-profit national network of local health and human services providers offering an array of quality, community-based services to adults and children. IFCS was acquired by The MENTOR Network in June, 2009. When the integration period ended in June of 2011, I was promoted to lead the effort to expand family preservation services throughout the U.S. In this role, I lead a team of clinical and operational experts charged with ensuring growth and financial success while maintaining fidelity to the clinical model.As Vice President of the National Development Team for Family Preservation Services, I provided strategic direction and oversight on the implementation of new business units. I worked with my team to ensure that appropriate resources were allocated to ensure contract deadlines were met. I was responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with public sector partners to determine community and state needs and how The MENTOR Network could support identified needs.

Institute for Family Centered Services (IFCS), a for-profit human services organization, started small in 1988 and grew into a nationally recognized, leading provider and developer of in-home and community-based services. IFCS was acquired by The MENTOR Network in June, 2009. As Chief Operating Officer at the time of purchase, I lead IFCS through the acquisition to full-integration in June 2011. Prior to the acquisition, I successfully shepherded the company as we grew the business and reputation, positioning ourselves as a desirable addition to The MENTOR Network's portfolio. In this role, I managed a team of State Directors and clinical leaders from across the company as well as business leaders in Human Resources and Finance.In addition to the integration activities, as COO, my responsibilities included:leading program operations, partnering with finance and clinical leaders in evaluating outcomes, ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations, developing policies to ensure effectiveness of service delivery and providing oversight of quality compliance.

I was selected to relocate in order to lead efforts to build a business for IFCS in a new state, Florida. I was promoted from a regional role to state-wide leadership role responsible for facilitating growth in untapped markets while ensuring sound operational and clinical service delivery. I successfully developed strong relationships within the industry and opened the first regional office in the state. The state eventually grew to include 4 regions and delivered a quality services to families as well as consistently strong financial results.As State Director, I provided clinical and administrative leadership to 4 Regional Directors and supported each region on growth, operational, financial and service delivery opportunities.

As Regional Director, my responsibilities included business growth, leadership development of front line leaders as well as the transfer of knowledge to front line leaders of state and locality requirements as related to our business contracts, billing and service delivery.
