Occidental Petroleum has elected to spin-off their California assets and create a new independent corporation. As such I still have the same roles and responsibilities, but now report to California Resources Corporation. I am currently working as a geologist on the Stevens RMT and am responsible for finding new locations and work-over opportunities in the Stevens Turbiditie sandstones and associated Monterrey Shale. Work on a cross functional team with members of varied backgrounds and disciplines with projects that vary in scale and scope.

Taugh a varied schedule of cardio and strength classes and aquatic fitness after my normal 9-5 job.

Worked as a geologist on the Stevens RMT. Responsible for finding new locations and work-over opportunities in the Stevens Turbiditie Sandstones and associated Monterrey Shale.

Worked as a Geologist on the conventional reservoir team at Vintage Production California, an OXY subsidiary. My main tasks involved determining remaining potential in existing fields, planning and executing wells, and preparing OOIP models for reserves. Responsible for 5-7 fields in the Ventura Basin.

Taught several online courses in Geological Sciences.

Worked several onshore and offshore projects, both conventional and unconventional. Roles included overseas assignments, supervisory positions, and creating new positions as the business unit expanded.

Taught several lab courses in Intro Geology, Natural Disasters, Dinosaurs and Oceanography. Developed course material and taught lab for Optical Mineralogy. Presented lectures to auditoriums of over 200 students in Natural Disasters and Dinosaurs.

Monitored US military training operations at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms to ensure compliance with Natural and Cultural resource preservation requirements. Conducted field surveys and utilized ArcGIS to document natural and cultural resource locations. Educated the local community and visiting personnel on the importance of preserving wildlife and cultural artifacts and the proper protocol to follow if encountered. Prepared EIR and NEPA documentation.

Worked with customers on the floor. Provided a high level of Customer Service. Was promoted to store closer and maintained financial records, end of shift bookkeeping, provided employee supervision and instruction.

Taught Step Aerobics, Cardio Dance, Core Strength and Weight Resistance classes.
