Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Current• Trouble shoot temperature control modules on systems containing extremely time sensitive materials • Performed maintenance on equipment such as centrifuges following strict procedures in an FDA regulated environment • Root cause failure analysis on equipment to determine a longer lasting improvement • Trouble shooting and calibrating instrumentation such as pressure, differential pressure, temperature, vortex flow meters, level indicators, vibration sensors, oxygen sensors, LEL analyzers, and PH transmitters • Competent in using Digital Control Interface as a useful tool for trouble shooting mechanical, and instrumentation problems • Install, trouble shoot, and repair electrical components, that must meet explosion proof standards • Understands and maintains building utilities, such as air handlers, compressed air, nitrogen, purified water, steam, and hot water supply • Overhauled and experience working with glass lined equipment such as automated valves, reactors and agitators • Involved in PSSRs, PM development, and Hazard Assessment of Standard Operating Procedures • Follow GMP practices on all documentation including writing work permits and closing work order
