 In charge of all Library Operations in the Library department. Head of Implementation of Mobile Library in the six Rarieda communities i.e Gagra, Ruma,Ndhere, PalaKobong, Rachar and Masala Villages. Supports the Adult Literacy Programs in the communities. Research and select Library materials Develop special programs like outreach programs to fit user needs. Prepare budgetary information and submit Monthly reports. Responsible for prompt opening of library at appointed times. Catalogue, classify and maintain library materials using barcodes and call numbers. Manage library users and analyze their needs to determine what information materials appropriate for them. Search and provide books for others. Responsible for entry of data and regular update of entries into the library system. Return books to the shelves, repair the damaged and maintain catalogue. Induction of new library users providing comprehensive reference and info on resource center activities. Ensure library environment conducive for learning. Work closely with other community info institutions like schools to extend library services to them through outreach programs.

I was tasked with all the Library duties Like the Cataloging and classification and the extended user services that included even the community engagements on the outreach programs with an intent of promoting literacy levels and promoting academic performance of the students.
