Work to attract and retain young professionals to the Tulsa area and develop the next generation of business and community leaders. Create and implement strategic goals and long-term objectives of the largest and fastest growing young professionals organization in the country.Serve as project manager and oversee day-to-day operations of over 80 events and initiatives annually through management of eight committees dedicated to business attraction, development & entrepreneurship, diversity & inclusion, government affairs, philanthropy, community engagement, arts & culture, sustainability, and urban revitalization. Launched the grassroots economic development initiative "Bring it to Tulsa" which was instrumental in Trader Joes and Uber expanding to Tulsa. Events range in size from a dozen to over a thousand people, including implementation of “Street Cred,” a two-day community-wide event attended by over 1500 individuals and winner of the “2011 Creative Vision” award by Oklahoma Creativity. Develop operating budget and manage resources within budget guidelines including handling in-kind donations and sponsor relations. Manage one full-time staff member, leadership board of 19 volunteers and 7,000 general members around a unified vision. Leverage working relationships and cooperative arrangements with businesses and community partners to advance the organization’s mission and develop strategic networking opportunities for members. Awarded “2011 Community Partner of the Year” by Tulsa Economic Development Corporation. Collaborate on all marketing and promotional materials, including 3 websites: www.typros.org, www.theforge-tulsa.com, www.internintulsa.com. Oversee social media efforts, including a Facebook page with over 4000 fans. Oversee and manage growth of organization from 6,700 members to over 8,000 in 18 months while increasing fundraising revenue by 24% in first year.
