I teach high school aged students how to research a topic, then set up and conduct interviews with community leaders about environmental issues. I help the students write, edit, and produce 2 minute radio news segments that air on KALW Public Radio in San Francisco.

I assign store clerks daily tasks and schedule all required breaks. I ensure proper staff levels at the check out counters. I explain store return policies, find merchandise, and offer shopping suggestions. I provide outstanding customer service by dealing with various issues over the phone and in the store.

I help prepare scripts, pictures, and audio for posting on the internet. I train new news room volunteers. I write the weekly City Holler Blog that covers San Francisco city politics.
