My strength is project management, design and manufacturing quality, lean and six sigma management, manufacturing process, supplier and crisis management, machining and fabricating experience.My professional experience includes five years of program / project management launching new vehicles and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; with two years in the automotive industry and one year with Recreational vehicles. I worked 5 years in supplier quality and crisis management. Worked ten years as journeyman machinist and quality control engineer, where I set-up, programmed CNC lathe and mills for production, prototyping, tooling manufacturing and two years as a welder and fabricator. Through out my career I been able to travel around the world to support multiple manufacturing facilities with new model launches, quality, tooling, and delivery issues. Work actively utilizing continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, problem solving activities during my work and personal life. Through my work within different manufacturing company I gained a unique knowledge of multiple management, process, engineering processes.My current position is a New Model Program Engineer with Volvo Cars in Charleston, South Carolina. Where I was fortunate enough to start at the beginning to launch the new manufacturing plant and S60 sedan. This will bring a lot opportunities to the Charleston area. I also supported and managed new model launch activities in other Volvo manufacturing plants in Sweden and China.
